Got a snail mail letter today from the National Deed Service (hxxp://www.nationaldeed.com/ – why no, I’m not linking to them, thanks very much), explaining why I might want to get an “official copy of my deed” and asking me to pay them $59.50 to get it from them. Details follow. Actually, it’s just time for our local intertubes to “go dark”. I have been speaking portentiously all morning. I think it’s another stress symptom. Anyhow, since the movers come tomorrow, I’m going to pack up all the associated Internet-connecting and Internet-connected devices today.
