Been feeling kind of like I’m waiting for something to happen, but not really at liberty to make it happen. First let me say that Hanne’s been doing a wonderful job coordinating holiday activities and I couldn’t be more pleased. We also have a trip to look forward to in February, which is part family [...] I’ve been simply unable to reach understandings with folks both on and off MetaFilter lately. [...] Just a note that I’ve been REALLY busy at work lately and getting home and either flopping around on the couch, helping out with household chores/kitchen work or playing video games to blow of steam. If anyone’s wondering why I’ve been so quiet lately, that’s why. I barely have time to check my personal e-mail [...] A not good time was had by me. I’m not writing about this so I can get pity or sympathy, but so that at least if someone on the Internet talks about it then someone else who runs into it and can’t figure out what happened might learn an explanation for it. Also, I’d like [...] There was old fable/parable that a therapist I had handed me at a pivotal time for me. It was about boundaries and what responsibility we share for others’ lives.
