Markdown

I am experimenting with Markdown, which is the standardized syntax of writing plain-text markup that is very similar to how the MediaWiki built-in editors work.

I am using a WordPress plug-in called Markdown on Save.

There are also a couple of iOS apps that use Markdown that I’m working with:

• Paragraft – Review, app page

• Trunk Notes – Review, app page

Note: if using Markdown on Save, edit in HTML mode, not Visual mode. The automatic link linker helpiness of Visual mode is not in fact helpful at all in this context.
