For the iBook or PowerBook (at least – try Crucial’s Memory Advisor™ tool and see if you come up with DDR PC2700 type memory and you may also be able to use it).
Details below the link/cut:
After doing all those repairs/upgrades to H’s PowerBook G4, we have a spare 512 MB (PC 2700) 200-pin So-DIMM DDR 333MHz CL2.5 memory module (usually for laptops) available to give away!
For even more detailed information, go to the manufacturer’s (Hynix) specs PDF and look up the HYMD564M646A(L)6-J part number, because that’s what we’ve got to offer. Looks like it was manufactured in 2003.
This memory was factory-installed by Apple when we initially bought the laptop in question.
So, if you know us already (or don’t, and wish to take a chance – if no one I know wants it and you do, for instance, I might send it to you anyway), drop us a line and let us know you want it.
I have only one to give away, so first come, first served. Free as in beer (though if I don’t know you and postage is significant, I may charge you for that).
