Testing LiveJournal CrossPoster 2.0 plugin.
Looks good. The plugin works for WordPress 2.3, will crosspost only posts in specific categories that you define, and will keep the crossposted post in sync when you add, edit or delete it.
You can also define a custom crosspost header or use the default (I’m currently using the default with a custom blog name).
I’ll let you know if anything seems amiss, but first tests make it look pretty much A-OK.
So my current status is that I’d like to implement post security, but I think it can wait (I’ll just post for public consumption for now), but most of the other plugins/configurations I wanted work fine, and those that don’t I’m fine without. I may wish to alter the crossposting plugin to support whatever security I implement, or I may just use it for public posts. If you wish to follow my posts here, you can just keep reading my journal and hit the jump link to the posts from the LJ crossposts, or you can subscribe to this blog’s feed.
Unless someone gives me an awfully good reason, though, I’ll probably keep disabling comments on the LJ hosted posts I crosspost there from here, and you’ll need a registered account to comment here.
Oh wait, I did forget one plugin, reCAPTCHA. I’ll install that now.

That’s a good plugin, I use it to post to DeadJournal, where a friend of mine keeps his blog. Live+Press 1.99.9 is another good one, but it might have more options than you’re interested in.
